Founder + Head of School

Throughout her career, Nicole has had experience teaching a wide range of students and subjects in colleges, prep-schools, and private-homeschool settings. She has taught mathematics, science, grammar, phonics, composition, literature, history, geography and nature-studies. Nicole has professionally trained through the Institute for Excellence in Writing and studied towards Level I Classical Educator Certification while working for Classical Academic Press. As of 2025, she has logged over ten-thousand hours privately tutoring and homeschooling students ages six to eighteen, both in-person and online.

Nicole earned a BA in Philosophy and BA in Political Science from Assumption College and an MA in Liberal Arts, with a focus in Philosophy and Theology, from St. John’s College, Santa Fe. Outside of the classroom she enjoys trying as many outdoor sports as possible and getting more people on bikes as a PMBIA & GSMBC certified mountain bike instructor.

Nicole Corbo

Outdoor Program Leader & All-School Assistant Teacher

Audrey’s teaching career began during her undergraduate studies when she volunteered to help local students improve their reading skills. This experience inspired her drive to educate and empower kids through learning. She has over four years of experience working with children in an educational setting and experience in mathematics, science, and English language arts tutoring. Audrey holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Memphis, and she is currently working towards completing a M.S. degree in Forestry from New Mexico Highlands University.

Audrey strives to combine her passion for academic learning with outdoor education. You can often find her enjoying and recreating in the New Mexico wilderness. She is an active volunteer with search and rescue and is certified in Wilderness First Aid. As the Outdoor Program Leader, Audrey seeks to create engaging outdoor experiences for students that instill creativity, thoughtfulness, resiliency, and enrichment.

Anne is an educator with 26 years of teaching experience. She has been a preschool teacher, school and family counselor, program director, and tutor. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, California. Anne loves making mixed media, watercolor, and oil paintings. She loves hiking and adventures with her husband and two dogs.

Anne Vidovich-O’Shea

Mathematics Tutor

Jahn Clarisse is a high school Mathematics teacher with Santa Fe Public Schools, currently teaching Algebra II and Financial Literacy. She has also taught Algebra I and Geometry. Before becoming a classroom teacher, she worked as a tutor with Breakthrough Santa Fe, Simon Scholars, and AVID. Jahn Clarisse studied at St. John’s College in Santa Fe, completing both her undergraduate studies and graduate work in Eastern Classics.

Her liberal arts education shapes her approach to mathematics as a discipline of reasoning, curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving, rather than simply memorizing formulas and procedures. Jahn Clarisse takes a whole-student approach to learning, meeting students where they are and helping them build both understanding and confidence. She encourages students to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and develop the independence to approach problems they may not immediately know how to solve.

Private Subject Tutor

Rachel has over two decades of experience tutoring students in English grammar, composition, and literature in a variety of settings. She is passionate about helping people of all ages find connection through literature and better know and express their own thoughts through the art and discipline of writing.

She holds a BA in English from William & Mary and an MA in Liberal Arts with a focus in Literature from St. John’s College, Santa Fe. For the last three years she has served as the Graduate Writing Assistant at St. John’s College, and she also teaches ESL classes through Santa Fe Literacy Volunteers. When not tutoring, she can often be found hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Rachel Brown

Mathematics & Electives Teacher

Taran will be teaching Middle School mathematics and New Mexico history, as well as helping to facilitate other aspects of the school’s daily routine. Taran was homeschooled for much of his childhood and, since graduating from St. John’s College here in Santa Fe, he has been teaching a variety of subjects at small alternative schools on the East Coast.

STEM Educator

Ashley is a STEM educator with over 15 years experience working in classroom and outdoor settings. Science communication and math instruction are her passions. She's taught outdoor ecology for the Scouts BSA and the Audubon Center, among others, and managed her own Forest School program in Santa Fe. She holds a master's degree in experimental cognitive psychology and is currently employed as a professor of psychology at Central New Mexico community college.
